2022 IBWSS Communication Awards Honor Leaders in Boating and Water Safety Outreach

The National Safe Boating Council (NSBC) announced the 2022 recipients of the International Boating and Water Safety Summit (IBWSS) Communication Awards. This year marks the 25th anniversary of IBWSS, a global event dedicated to education, awareness, and networking for the advancement of boating and water safety.

NSBC General Membership Meeting Reminder

Reminder, the National Safe Boating Council’s General Membership Meeting will be held on Sunday, March 13 at 3:00 p.m. EDT at the Hyatt Regency Dulles in Herndon, VA just outside of D.C. in conjunction with the International Boating and Water Safety Summit. New Industry Study Offers Insights to Enhance Boat Buying & Ownership Experience

The Recreational Boating & Fishing Foundation (RBFF), the Marine Retailers Association of the Americas (MRAA), and the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) today announced the findings from a comprehensive study conducted by Left Brain Marketing, Inc. with individuals who purchased a boat in 2020 or 2021. The study was fielded to better identify and understand challenges associated with boat shopping and ownership experiences.

The National Safe Boating Council would like to reach boaters via radio in markets where recreational boating is popular. The Council will provide two professionally produced :15 radio spots for placement.
