Request for Proposals: Radio Advertising

Background

Since 1958, the National Safe Boating Council, Inc. (NSBC) has been a national catalyst for creating a safe boating culture by providing educational resources, outreach programs, and training opportunities for industry partners and the boating community to influence safe, secure, and responsible boating. As a national nonprofit 50l(c)(3) public service organization, the NSBC exists to create a safer recreational boating experience for all who enjoy America’s oceans and waterways. The NSBC’s growing membership includes organizations, agencies, companies, instructors, and individuals with the common goal of enhancing the safety of recreational boating on a national level. This includes connecting with, listening to, and involving all who live, work, or play within the recreational boating community.

Submission Information

Please provide an estimate to Yvonne Pentz, communications director, National Safe Boating Council, ypentz@safeboatingcouncil.org by close of business on March 10, 2022. Any questions must be received by end of day on March 1, 2022 via email (phone calls will not be returned). 

Bid must include suggested markets, number of radio stations, total potential impressions, cost, and ad placement (when the ads will air).

Assumptions and Agreements

The National Safe Boating Council reserves the right to dismiss a project bid for any reason.

Radio Advertising Needs

The National Safe Boating Council would like to reach boaters via radio in markets where recreational boating is popular. The Council will provide two professionally produced :15 radio spots for placement.

  • Reach listeners during bottom/top of the hour OR traffic and weather network
  • Reach 5-6 markets with a single ad buy
  • 3 week flight
