Our Mission
Founded in 1958, the National Safe Boating Council (NSBC) serves as a national catalyst for developing a safe boating culture by providing educational resources, outreach programming, and training opportunities for industry partners and the boating community to influence safe, secure, and responsible boating.

NSBC States Committee
Comprised of boating education coordinators and boating law administrators geographically represented across the U.S. The committee is co-chaired by Stephanie Hussey, RBFF and MariAnn McKenzie, OR. Members are Dean Aucoin, LA; Adam Gormely, ME; Chelsea Hofmeier, KS; Aaron Meier, NV; and Sara Smith, MT.

Annual Reports
Each year, the National Safe Boating Council produces an annual report highlighting key initiatives, programs, successes, and a financial update.
