Unlike the typical passive Engine Cut Off Switch Links (ECOSL) commonly seen, Lifecord is a ‘smart’ ECOSL incorporating detection technology designed to trigger an audible and visual warning alarm should Lifecord be connected to the boat’s Engine Cut Off Switch but not the pilot, similar to the seatbelt warning in your car.
Lifecord simply replaces the boat / engine’s existing ECOS link. It is supplied with 7 clip heads contained within the packaging, ensuring it fits virtually every engine/boat type fitted with an existing ECOS. No adaptation or alteration to the vessel itself is required to use Lifecord. The clip heads supplied are designed to fit with the list of engine manufacturers below:
Honda, Mercury / Mariner, Mercury / Mariner / Tohatsu, OMC Evinrude, Suzuki, OMC Johnson / Evinrude, Yamaha
Lifecord is packaged in a bespoke, branded, PVC / nylon drawstring bag, useful for product storage. Also included is a USA instruction manual. A small card presentation label and nylon tie ensures minimal packaging to recycle.
