America’s Boating Channel™, the U.S. Coast Guard funded boating safety and boater education video service, produced by United States Power Squadrons® (USPS), has entered into an agreement with the National Safe Boating Council (NSBC) to include seventy NSBC safe boating videos in America’s Boating Channel’s new smart TV offerings, including public service messages promoting the NSBC’s Safe Boating Campaign, Boat On Course, Get Connected, and other programs.
The Recreational Boating & Fishing Foundation (RBFF) today announced new research that shows fishing provides positive psychological benefits for women. Conducted in partnership with global market-research firm, Ipsos, the research reveals female anglers were more likely to have a positive outlook on life, higher levels of perseverance and a greater self-worth.
At Palm Beach Atlantic University, often the tables are turned, as we educators learn from our students and alumni. On the Monday before Thanksgiving, we honored alumnus Carter Viss, who by his actions has taught us much about perseverance, forgiveness and letting God bring good out of tragedy.

The recreational boating industry’s elite members celebrated the launch of the reimagined Boating Industry Top 100 Awards during a black-tie gala on November 16, 2022 on the final evening of the Boating Industry ELEVATE SUMMIT in Orlando, FL.

Nearly one month after making landfall September 28 as a Category 4 storm, Hurricane Ian is still challenging TowBoatUS cleanup crews tasked with salvaging thousands of recreational vessels damaged or destroyed by the historic storm – one of the deadliest in the state’s history.

The U. S. Coast Guard has announced the appointment of two individuals to serve as new members of the National Boating Safety Advisory Committee (NBSAC).
