Ready, Set, Wear It Inside Scoop
Ready, Set, Wear It Life Jacket Events teach boaters about the importance of always wearing a life jacket - with a bit of fun along the way! These events are hosted by Safe Boating Campaign partners around the world and may be a standalone event or incorporated into other local outreach efforts. Events may be offered once, twice, or multiple times throughout the year! Local partners are encouraged to plan a #RSWI2019 event any time between May 1 and October 31.

Boxed Sets: Coming soon!
The National Safe Boating Council provides free resources to support the Safe Boating Campaign. Downloadable resources are available on our Resources page. Be on the lookout for our boxed sets, including stickers, brochures, wristbands and more. These are available in limited quantities while supplies last. You will be notified by email in the coming weeks when these are available.
Wear Your Life Jacket to Work Day: May 17, 2019
Wear your life jacket, snap a picture while at work and share on social media with the hashtags #lifejacket2work and #safeboating. Please tag the Safe Boating Campaign when sharing photos (Facebook @safeboatcampaign, Twitter @boatingcampaign, Instagram @boatingcampaign). Photos may be shared directly to outreach@safeboatingcouncil.org. Hosted by the National Safe Boating Council, this annual event is a fun, educational way to heighten life jacket awareness and highlight the various styles just prior to National Safe Boating Week (May 18-24, 2019). Get some co-workers in on the fun!
National Safe Boating Week: May 18-24, 2019
The Safe Boating Campaign kicks off the weekend before Memorial Day with National Safe Boating Week and continues throughout the year with various events and activities. Become a Partner to share your support for the Safe Boating Campaign. Remember, any time you’re boating, set an example for others and always wear a life jacket and boat responsibly. Join the conversation on Facebook and Twitter. Download resources, including helpful fact sheets to use as talking points, infographics for social media posts, and more.
