General Membership Meeting

The NSBC General Membership Meeting will be held in conjunction with the 2023 International Boating and Water Safety Summit in Little Rock, AR. All NSBC members are encouraged to attend. It's a great opportunity to network in person and celebrate our shared mission to advance recreational boating safety.

The International Boating and Water Safety Summit will be held from April 16-19, 2023 at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Little Rock. The General Membership Meeting will be on Monday, April 17 from 4:30 - 5:30 PM.

The annual conference will feature engaging keynotes, breakout sessions, and professional development opportunities.
Plus, an on-water workshop with the latest boats, equipment, and safety in towed water sports — brought to you by the Water Sports Industry Association. Depending upon your comfort level, you may participate by observing from the dock or aboard a powerboat. You can even sign-up to put on a dry suit and jump aboard an e-foil. Thank you to the Water Sports Industry Association for bringing this boating and water safety event to IBWSS.

You won't want to miss America’s Boating Channel's public launch of its new smart TV offerings – an ad-supported video on demand (AVOD) app and free ad-supported television (FAST) linear video channel – during the 2023 IBWSS opening events.

NSBC Instructors! Be sure to attend an in-person update about our on-water training program on Wednesday, April 19 at IBWSS.

Waves of Hope

Waves of Hope is a coalition of forever-changed families and friends impacted by boating and open water tragedies.

We are the “why” behind the “what” of boating and water safety. That one moment that changed our families forever could have been prevented. A life jacket. A propeller guard. An aware boat operator. An engine cut-off switch. We want to share our stories to educate others about boating and water safety, so our stories never become another family’s story.
