We may be #socialdistancing, but we're still operating as the same collaborative, can-do NSBC you know and love.
Like you, we continue to approach this unique situation one day at a time, but in the meantime, know that we're just a Google Hangout, call, text, or email away. At this time, it's business as usual, just from a temporary home office setting.

With the ongoing coverage surrounding the coronavirus outbreak, our top priority is to keep our attendees safe and informed. Due to the March 15 recommendation by the Centers for Disease Control that organizers cancel in-person events that consist of 50 people or more throughout the U.S., and Arizona Governor Ducey’s call for the cancellation of gatherings of over 50 people, the 2020 International Boating and Water Safety Summit is cancelled. In addition, overwhelming travel restrictions from states and organizations was also considered in this decision. There will be NO in-person NSBC General Membership Meeting this April. Read more.

With the cancellation of conferences and public outreach events, and the shift to working remotely for many of us, it is more important than ever for us to pool our resources and knowledge.
The NSBC will offer a limited series of high-quality, high-value, interactive virtual experiences with content from our members, partners, retailers, manufacturers, and other thought leaders.
These FREE experiences are relevant for anyone working towards their Certified Recreational Boating Professional certification, planning grassroots outreach efforts, developing recreational boating and water safety programs, and more.
This is about bringing the recreational boating safety community together, so we come out an even stronger team once this uncertain time has passed. Stay tuned for the schedule announcement!
