General Membership Meeting

The National Safe Boating Council's fall General Membership Meeting will be a virtual meeting via Zoom on Friday, September 25, 2020 from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm EDT. We look forward to this opportunity to share with each other how we are working together to advance recreational boating safety.

Please follow these 3 steps to participate in the virtual General Membership Meeting.

1) Complete a proxy. Please complete a proxy, whether or not you plan on attending the virtual membership meeting, by Wednesday, September 23, 2020. This will ensure your vote is recorded given the virtual meeting format.

2) Review the General Membership Meeting Minutes. Please review the meeting minutes from September 2019 and email any additions to ypentz@safeboatingcouncil.org by September 18, 2020. Due to coronavirus travel restrictions, there was not a General Membership Meeting held in March 2020.

3) Register for the virtual meeting. Please register for the Zoom meeting to receive an email with instructions to join the meeting. This will assist us in taking attendance to ensure a quorum has been met. Those who attend the virtual meeting will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win prizes.

In addition, if you are an organizational partner and would like to provide an update during the General Membership Meeting, please complete the partner update form. This will ensure all partner organizations are given equal opportunity to provide an update during the meeting. These updates will be included with the agenda in advance of the general membership meeting. In addition, partners will be provided up to 3 minutes each to present during the virtual meeting. Please complete the partner update form no later than September 18, 2020.

We hope many of you can join us for our virtual membership meeting!

Your feedback is important to us. Please contact us with any comments or suggestions.
