Welcome to Our Executive Director

Following a search process that began in October, the National Safe Boating Council (NSBC) has named Peg Phillips as the organization’s new executive director.

“We’re excited to welcome Peg to the NSBC!” said NSBC Board Chair Chris Stec. “She brings a wealth of translatable experience and fresh perspective from her tenure with the College of Life Foundation and US Foods, as well as her volunteer work with ACA Florida. Her career commitment to service and outdoor recreation will serve NSBC and the boating community as a whole well and we look forward to working with her.” Read more.

Message from the National Weather Service

The National Weather Service is proposing to reduce the number of and reformat its Marine hazard messages. A survey has been developed to collect public comment. Share your thoughts by January 11. Take survey.
