The National Safe Boating Council Honors ACR Electronics with the Horizon Award

The National Safe Boating Council (NSBC) is proud to announce Sustaining Member ACR Electronics, Inc. (ACR) as the recipient of the 2015 Horizon Award. ACR received a brass mariner’s telescope at the Congressional Reception held May 13, 2015 at the Rayburn House Office Building in Washington, DC. ACR was commended for their support of NSBC’s Saved by the Beacon National Campaign, which is designed to educate recreational boaters about the importance of 406 MHz beacons and how to use them correctly in the case of a boating emergency.

Confluence Awards Recipients Recognized at Congressional Reception

Atkins, and Senator Pat Toomey and Congressman Mike Kelly of Pennsylvania as the recipients of the 2015 Confluence Awards.

National Safe Boating Council to Co-host 2015 American Boating Congress

Boat Ed to be Premier Sponsor of the 19th International Boating & Water Safety Summit

The National Safe Boating Council (NSBC) and the National Water Safety Congress (NWSC) are proud to announce Boat Ed as the premier sponsor for the 19th International Boating & Water Safety Summit (IBWSS), held March 29 to April 1, 2015, at the Grand Sandestin, in Sandestin, Fla. The IBWSS is the premier event for training, awareness, meeting and networking for anyone involved in boating and water safety in support of the National Recreational Boating Safety Strategic Plan, 2012-2016.

‘Saved by the Beacon’ Campaign Launches at Miami International Boat Show On-Water Event

A new boating safety campaign was unveiled today at the Miami International Boat Show by the National Safe Boating Council (NSBC), a leading expert in boating safety. The Saved by the Beacon National Safe Boating Campaign will help recreational boaters understand the importance of emergency locator (406 MHz) beacons and how to use them correctly in the case of a boating emergency.
